WOO-HOO! $377 Entrust dividend lands for 374,000 Aucklanders

More than 374,000 households and businesses across central, east and south Auckland are celebrating today as their 2026 Entrust dividend lands. This year’s payment is $377, injecting more than $141 million into the local economy.
Entrust Chair Denise Lee says dividend day is one many Aucklanders look forward to every year.
“There’s a real sense of excitement when the dividend arrives. For some people it helps with everyday costs, for others it’s an opportunity to treat themselves or put a little extra aside,” she said.
“We know this dividend makes a real difference in people’s lives because they tell us.”
Since 1994, Entrust has paid more than $2.5 billion in dividends to eligible Aucklanders, delivering a welcome boost to households and businesses across the district for more than 30 years.
The dividend is paid either as a direct credit to bank accounts or as a credit on the recipient’s next power bill, depending on the payment method selected. Those whose payment could not be completed will be sent a notification from Entrust.
The Entrust District covers central, east, and south Auckland. It is the areas of Auckland, Manukau, northern Papakura, and eastern Franklin that were formerly part of the old Auckland Electric Power Board.
To receive the 2026 dividend, people must have been the named power account holder on the Vector electricity network in the Entrust District at midnight on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.
